About All Saints United Methodist Church

We are currently building a home for All Saints’ United Methodist Church in Brier Creek. What we build will allow the work of making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world to grow and flourish. Building an intentionally sacramental space in the midst of Brier Creek will require much prayer, discernment, sacrifice and commitment.

All Saints’ has made a covenant to build a Christian community in which people can come and experience knowing, loving and serving God. Over the past two years, we have witnessed God use us to build a solid foundation for that work of faith. We have built small groups (knowing), weekly worship (loving) and acts of service (serving). The relationships, rhythms and practices that we have built together will serve as a firm foundation for us to step out in faith and build a permanent place for that work to flourish and continue for years to come. Because of this we have set a theme for our endeavors:

By Faith We Build…

Our Capital Stewardship Program, By Faith We Build…, is underway to aid us in preparing to do what only God can do. With the acquisition of land and construction of a facility that will reach many people, we will have the space to move forward impacting our community in Brier Creek so that we may make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.

Working smarter, not harder.

For more than two years now, All Saints’ has gathered weekly to know, love and serve God. During that time, we have all seen the work that goes into worship each Sunday: the truck being unloaded, the chairs being set up, the cables being laid out and coiled back up. It is not a secret that the lack of a permanent place for All Saints’ causes additional work for many each Sunday.

Yet, lessening this work is not why we are setting out on a spiritual journey through a Capital Stewardship Program. Yes, when we buy land and build a sanctuary in Brier Creek with the donations that are pledged, our physical workload on Sunday mornings will diminish significantly. However, our real work will be increasing. That is, as we seek to build a permanent place for our sacramental community in the middle of Brier Creek, we will be better equipped to increase our work of making disciples of Jesus Christ.
