Invitation to Worship
“Worship is an encounter with the living God through the risen Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit. ”
– The United Methodist Book of Worship
What can you expect?
Worship at All Saints’ United Methodist Church is a living tradition which is rooted in the practices of the Christian faith that has been alive for more than 2,000 years… but engages our contemporary world. Each week, we gather to praise God. We hear God’s word read and proclaimed. We offer our prayers to God. We share in Holy Communion. And we are then sent forth to live worshipful lives throughout the week.
You will find our music to be a stirring mixture of ancient as well as contemporary… our prayers to be earnest and sincere… and our people to be authentic and welcoming.
What should you wear?
In short, whatever makes you feel most comfortable. Whether you arrive in a suit or in jeans and a t-shirt, you’ll never be over- or under-dressed.
What should you bring?
Bring yourself and, if possible, a friend or loved one. And don’t forget to bring your questions about faith and your hunger and thirst for God!
