About All Saints United Methodist Church

Leadership

All Saints’ has established a Leadership Team to guide our mission and ministries and provide for the proper administration of the church. Supported by wonderful individuals across our congregation who are key to its success, the Leadership Team includes our pastor, Greg Moore, and the lay leader, Arjun Rajaratnam, as well as the team leaders for each of our ministries:

Communications – Bri Devine

Community Partnerships – Kelly Matson

Discipleship – Grant Parkins

Finance – Mark Miller

Land and Location – Wes Carter

Staff Parish – Joanna Grant

Trustees – Bob Garneau

Worship – Leslie Parkins

Youth – Cameron Merrill

The goal is to have each leader serve a three year term, devoting the first year to learning, the second year to leading, and the third year to teaching his or her successor. To a person, our Leadership Team considers it a privilege to be called to servant leadership―or, what John Wesley described as “watching over one another in love.”

Servant Leadership:

Arjun Rajaratnam, Lay Leader

Bri Devine, Communications

The goal of the Communications Team is to provide a forum for communication both to the members (internal) and to potential members (external). We support the respective ministry areas that make up the Leadership team. Some of our responsibilities include the weekly email to members, the ASUMC newsletter published monthly, the website, and Facebook page to name a few.

Kelly Matson, Community Partnerships

Our mission at All Saints’ UMC is to become disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world with deeply formational projects and missions. To this end, the Community Partnerships Team is responsible for finding opportunities for our congregation to serve the Lord in our community, our state, our nation, and our world.

Grant Parkins, Adult Discipleship

The goal of our discipleship program is to guide adults to live as faithful disciples of Jesus Christ through Sunday school and small group ministries.

Mark Miller, Finance Team

This team meets monthly and works to guide the financial operations of the church.

Wes Carter, Land & Location

This team secured land for All Saints’ in 2010 and is currently working with an architect to design and build a permanent home for All Saints’.

Joanna Grant, Staff/Parish Relations

The primary responsibility of SPRC is to work with staff so that the mission of All Saints’ is realized. Therefore, we have an obligation to equip our teams and team leaders with staffing support so that they can go out and “make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.” We also work to support and equip our staff so that they may fully perform the duties in their Ministry areas.

Bob Garneau, Board of Trustees

The Board is currently in the formative stages and will become official when All Saints’ “charters” with the United Methodist Church Charge Conference. The Board of Trustees’ responsibility is to supervise and maintain all property of All Saints’ United Methodist Church.

(Currently Vacant), Congregational Care

This team serves as the personal face of Christ that nurtures those around us with prayers, love and kind deeds in order to grow stronger disciples of Christ.

Leslie Parkins, Worship Team

The worship team seeks to foster and plan worship opportunities for All Saints’ to encounter God and neighbor as we make disciples for the transformation of the world.

Cameron Merrill, Youth Ministry

The youth ministry at All Saints’ seeks to engage the hearts and minds of our youth, creating a community where they are transformed as disciples of Jesus Christ.
