Greg Moore, Pastor
Greg was born in Charleston, South Carolina and spent the majority of his childhood in nearby Orangeburg County playing soccer and training horses. Greg attended Charleston Southern University on a soccer scholarship, graduating in 2000 with a BA in Religion and History. In 2000, he enrolled in Duke Divinity School to pursue a Master of Divinity. For 3 ½ years, he served as Intern Pastor at Christ UMC in Chapel Hill. After receiving his master’s degree, he moved to England to pastor three local churches within the British Methodist Church. He returned to the Triangle in 2005 and rejoined the staff at Christ Church as Associate Pastor.
Greg and his wife, Molly, whom he met at college, were married in December 2000. Their son Isaac was born in 2009. They still enjoy playing soccer, traveling, and following Duke basketball.

Ruth Harper Stevens, Minister of Welcome
As the Minister of Welcome, Reverend Stevens meets with newcomers, coordinates quarterly New Member Class Retreats and assists prospective members in the process of joining the church. She is a former Christian Educator and has served as a pastor and District Superintendent within the United Methodist Church for 30 years. She joined the staff over a year ago and sings alto as part of the worship team. She is married to Joe, and has two grown sons who each have a daughter. Her hobbies are many. Above all, she finds fulfillment in making people feel at home within the Church.

Sue Ellen Nicholson, Minister of Administration and Discipleship
Sue Ellen is a Diaconal Minister in the United Methodist Church and has served in various capacities within the United Methodist Church—including Minister of Education and Conference Director of Children, Youth and Young Adult Ministries. She has a Masters of Divinity degree from Duke Divinity School and a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting from NC State. Among other things, her ministry at All Saints’ UMC includes office manager and bookkeeper. Sue Ellen enjoys reading, sewing and knitting, and cheering on her favorite football teams.

Ray Newlin, Minister of Music
Ray Newlin grew up on a farm in Alamance County, NC, where he developed a love for the outdoors as well as for music. Ray has been active in church music for many years. He studied music education at UNC-Greensboro and taught music in the public schools. He recently completed his career in education as a school administrator. Ray and his wife Liz enjoy living in Fuquay-Varina, close by to their daughter, son in law, and three grandchildren.

Jeff Nelson, Minister of Media Ministry
Jeff hails from the West Coast where he graduated from Fuller Theological Seminary with a MA in Theology and Biblical Studies in 2002. Since then he has worked in direct marketing for years before leaving to pursue a career in film and video. His tasks at All Saints’ include video production, graphic design and website development. He loves hill walking and hyper miling.

For the past three years, Ms. Laura has served as coordinator for Sunday School, Parents’ Night Out and Children’s Church.
