Music
“Above all sing spiritually. Have an eye to God in every word you sing.” – From John Wesley’s Select Hymns, 1761
At All Saints’ you will find our music to be a stirring mixture of ancient as well as contemporary.
By drawing from the rhythms and traditions of the liturgical calendar, a variety of instruments, and music from around the world, we strive to lead everyone around us in deeper worship of God.
The All Saints’ Music Ministry currently has the following opportunities available.
Congregational Singing
Our music on Sunday morning is meant to be a collective, communal act of worship to God. Together, we sing praises to God. When you walk inside our church doors, you are already involved in our music ministry. As John Wesley would say, we invite you to sing “with vigor and good courage” in our Sunday morning liturgy. You will find our music to be rich but also accessible allowing you to easily worship and sing along.
Worship Music Team
We are always looking for more vocalists and instrumentalists (piano, guitar, brass, woodwinds, strings) to join our team that leads worship on Sunday mornings. There is a rotating schedule for all vocalists and instrumentalists so participation every week is not necessary.
Open Choir
We periodically have “open choir” times where vocalists of all ages and skill levels are welcome to sing an anthem in a full choir setting. Contact Ray for more info or check our website calendar for dates to join us.
Children’s Choir
Children of all ages are welcome to join in the fun as we make music together and praise God with joyful voices. Our Children’s Choir often starts off the various church seasons by singing the introit in our church service. Contact Ray if you would like to get your children involved or for more information.
