While not a sacrament in The United Methodist Church, Confirmation is an important marker along our spiritual journey, rather than a destination. Like a way station, Confirmation is a place where students renew their commitment to the journey we have been traveling while under the care of others. It is also a time for a church to celebrate their young people’s commitment to “live as a faithful disciple of Jesus Christ,” and to renew their commitment to do the same.
Confirmation at All Saints’ will begin February 23-25 with a retreat to Chestnut Ridge and meet for four weeks through March. We'll have a big Sunday worship celebration on April 15. Confirmation is limited to 7-10th grade students and capped at 10 participants.
