Laura Fine Ledford

Laura is our Lead Pastor and gathers people into communion with Jesus Christ through the four-fold office of Word (preaching and teaching), Sacrament (presiding over and inviting others into the sacraments), Order (leading the staff and leadership team), and Service (helping cast and clarify vision).  Laura graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill and Duke Divinity School. She and her husband Rodney enjoy chasing after their two fantastic and funny sons, and cheering for the Tar Heels.

Sue Ellen.JPG

Sue Ellen Nicholson

As Minister of Administration and Operations, Sue Ellen helps to facilitate the daily operations of the church and supports the pastoral and program staff. Sue Ellen also supports the church leadership teams in their various ministries. She is originally from Rocky Mount, NC and has a BA in Accounting from NC State University and a Masters of Divinity from Duke Divinity School.

Rozanna Goocey

Rozanna serves as our Minister of Music and LIturgy.  She has a Bachelor of Music degree from East Carolina University and a Masters of Sacred Music from Southern Methodist University.  Rozanna has served as a Minister of Music, Choir Director and Organist in a variety of churches over the past 13 years.  With a full day to do whatever she wants, Rozanna would go to the gym and not feel rushed, meet a friend for an almond milk latte and enjoy uninterrupted time with her family.

Reed McNitsky.jpg

Reed McNitzky

Reed is our interim Minister of Discipleship.  Reed hails from San Antonio, Texas and attended the University of Texas where he graduated in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religious Studies and this past May completed a Masters of Divinity degree from Duke University. Reed is passionate about the outdoors, sports and cooking and following his college teams. In May, Reed will be married and return to the Rio Texas Conference of the United Methodist Church, his home conference.  Read Reed's letter to the congregation here.
