Join us on Good Friday as we gather in the Brier Creek Shopping Center between Target and the movie theater and join together in walking the Via Dolorosa, the Painful Way. Together with millions of Christians across the world, we will walk the path of Christ as he painfully carried a cross toward the hill of the Crucifixion. It will be a time of reflection, song, and prayer, right through the heart of the marketplace, just as it was over 2000 years ago.
We will be using the Stations images done in woodcut by artist Margaret Adams Parker, which can be viewed here. Our Stations will include poetic reflections from poet and theologian Malcolm Guite, as well as responsive prayers for us as we walk together on this painful path.
