'Creating Landmarks' - A Lectio + Visual Arts Making Response Workshop

In the Easter season, All Saints’ will offer a time to sit with scripture and respond through the visual arts, led by Amy B. Fetzer, the Artist-in-Residence at Soapstone UMC.

Amy will help us to create a journal response to our lectionary readings, connecting to the generous offering of God's full hospitality extended to us in Word. We'll read the selection aloud, noticing details and the images on our hearts and then work contemplatively in watercolor wash, collage, and written word, creating a response - a landmark - honoring how God is at work in us, being present and in community with the Holy Spirit. We will share these responses, in our small group, allowing God to speak through our sharing as the Spirit moves.

Please RSVP as spots are limited. The course will be weekly on Tuesdays from 6:30-8pm, beginning April 17 and ending May 22nd. Childcare is available, upon request.
