At All Saints', our theme during this season of Lent will be called "Hungry." Each week, Scripture will lead us to wonder what things we are hungry for God to fill in our lives and in our world.
Each Wednesday evening, we will gather in the Sanctuary to explore various spiritual disciplines, which are practices that can feed our hunger for God's presence. Children and Youth will be exploring the same practices as the adults. This will enable families to discuss and practice together at home during the week. Children (ages 5-7th grade) will be invited to participate in our children and youth choirs as part of their formation (Ministry Center Rooms 3 and 5). This time involves a fun and dynamic lesson, music instruction, drumming, handbells and singing, led by skilled and engaging leaders. Youth (8th–12th grade) will gather in Ministry Center Room 4 for a “small group” setting. Using the spiritual disciplines as our guide, we will explore how these different practices assist us in becoming more attuned to God and more engaged in a life of Christian discipleship. Youth will also be offered practical resources so that they may embrace these different spiritual practices during the week.
